VOLUNTEERS NEEDEDParent/Guardian volunteers will be needed for the following, during the 2011-2012 school year: School Site Council (meets several times a year) Awards WASC/Focus Groups – help with accreditation Tutoring Office Help – phones, mailings Art, Technology and/or Office Supply Donations Food Donations for Hungry Students

College Gear DayShores’ objective is to increase our students' awareness (and comfort level) regarding the post-secondary educational opportunities available for ALL high school students. Therefore, in an effort to increase college awareness, Shores will have College Gear Day every Thursday. On this day, students will be asked to wear an article of clothing from a college of their preference. Additionally, during this day, the staff will be asked to share stories from their college experience, all the while donning their favorite college apparel.
